Breast care
The best way to stay on top of your breast health is to have regular screenings. These include breast exams, breast ultrasounds and mammograms. At our breast center, we offer diagnostic imaging that detects abnormalities in the earliest stages, ensuring the best possible outcomes. We offer the following women's imaging services:
- 3D mammography
- Breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
- Breast ultrasound
- Cyst aspiration
- Stereotactic breast biopsy
- Ultrasound core needle biopsy
Gynecology services
Women's health can be complex, which is why we proudly offer care for conditions of the female reproductive system and pelvic region — so that you're always taken care of. Our board-certified doctors provide gynecological and urogynecological services to treat conditions such as menstrual issues, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic floor problems and incontinence.
Minimally invasive surgery is a great treatment option for many gynecological conditions. These procedures are done through tiny incisions and result in less pain, less scarring and a faster recovery compared to traditional surgery.
Maternity care
Choosing the hospital where you give birth is an important decision. At our birthing center, we focus on giving you the childbirth experience you want with safe outcomes for both mom and baby.
From high-risk pregnancy care to dedicated labor and delivery services, our continuum of care, including prenatal treatment and maternity classes, ensures that you stay healthy and prepared during your pregnancy. Also, our postpartum services help you with breastfeeding and settling in with your little one after delivery.
Infertility treatment
If you struggle with infertility, you need compassionate care and innovative approaches based on best medical practices. Our fertility specialists partner with you to develop a treatment plan that works for you and your family.
Mental health and wellness
Our comprehensive behavioral health programs offer women ages 13 and older a calm, supportive environment so you can focus on improving your mental wellbeing. We provide both inpatient and outpatient programs to address conditions such as anxiety, postpartum depression and drug and alcohol dependency.
Oncology care
Being diagnosed with cancer can be overwhelming. You will likely have many questions about your diagnosis and how to proceed — that's where we come in. The team of oncologists, nurses and specialists in our cancer care program work together to provide the answers you need and develop the most effective course of treatment. We treat a number of cancers that affect women, including breast and gynecological cancers.
Bone density screenings
Women have a higher risk of osteoporosis and bone fracture after breast cancer treatment. This risk is increased due to the way cancer treatments can lower levels of estrogen — a hormone that helps protect bones. For this reason, our range of women's imaging services includes bone density testing. We use dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) to determine your risk for bone fractures. This scan uses minimal radiation and measures bone density while providing a risk assessment for fractures.
Women and heart disease
When it comes to cardiovascular complications, women need to be particularly alert and informed. Our cardiology specialists strive to educate you about heart attack symptoms, which often present differently in women than in men. For example, the most common heart attack symptom for men is chest pain, but women may experience jaw pain, nausea, pain in the lower stomach and/or extreme fatigue. In addition to education, diagnosis and treatment, we also provide cardiac rehabilitation to help you recover from cardiac events and previous surgeries.
