Maternal-Fetal Medicine

Not all pregnancies go as planned. With complications ranging from preeclampsia to gestational diabetes, some women and their babies need specialized treatment during pregnancy. If you are experiencing a high-risk pregnancy, our maternal-fetal medicine specialists (perinatologists) can help. Our highly skilled experts offer a wide range of high-risk pregnancy services to help ensure a healthy experience for both you and your baby.

Midwifery and doula services

Some of our hospitals offer midwifery care from certified nurse midwives (CNMs). A CNM typically cares for women experiencing a routine, low-risk pregnancy and can support you throughout your pregnancy, labor and delivery and recovery.

Although we don't have on-staff doulas, we support your decision to include a doula in your birth plan. If you choose to work with a doula or midwife, we can connect you to those who are affiliated with our doctors.

Labor and delivery

You know your body better than anyone, and we trust your instincts. You choose how to manage your labor and delivery. Our pregnancy specialists will support you in your birth plan while ensuring your health and safety.

Our highly trained teams will attend to your needs during your entire labor and delivery journey. We offer our patients advanced obstetric technology and resources, including on-site anesthesiologists and dedicated operating rooms for emergency cesarean sections (c-sections). We offer wireless fetal monitoring and medicated or low-intervention birth options, such as natural pain management techniques.

Neonatal intensive care

Sometimes, babies need a little extra support after birth. Our hospitals are equipped with neonatal intensive care units (NICUs). We staff our NICUs with expert neonatal specialists trained to care for sick and premature newborns.

Our teams are committed to providing family-centered, innovative care. We encourage your family to bond with your newborn during their NICU stay. We understand that you may want to be by your baby's side 24/7.

Postpartum care

Our care teams continue to provide support and encouragement after your baby is born, during your hospital stay and through your transition home. Our postpartum care services range from breastfeeding support and donor milk access to postpartum depression resources and maternal health check-ups. We want to make your post-delivery experience as enjoyable and memorable as possible.
