HCA Virginia and EVERFI Host Experiential Learning Day for Teens

HCA Virginia sponsored a Mental Health Month event with EVERFI at Unity Reed High School in Manassas, Virginia. The event's theme was Exploring Expressive Therapy and it provided students with the opportunity to explore different forms of expressive therapy through five stations run by mental health professionals, including colleagues from Dominion Hospital. This program stemmed from EVERFI's Understanding Mental Wellness signature event, sponsored by our larger network, HCA Healthcare, and was designed to support and provide resources and tools to students in a world where mental health challenges are increasingly prevalent among young individuals.

Increasing opportunity and access to healthcare careers

HCA Virginia serves a diverse patient population through our 14 hospitals and sites of care across the Commonwealth. To help develop a workforce that reflects the diversity of our patients, we leverage our strategic partnerships with colleges and universities to create opportunities for future healthcare leaders to learn and serve in their communities.
