Maternity classes and hospital tours

Our hospitals offer a variety of maternity classes to help you and your family prepare for labor, delivery, breastfeeding, newborn care and beyond. We also provide tours of our maternity centers to help you get familiar with our facilities. The tours are a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about labor and delivery or our birthing services and amenities.

Midwifery and doula services

Some of our hospitals offer midwifery care from certified nurse midwives (CNMs). A CNM typically cares for women experiencing a routine (low-risk) pregnancy and can support you throughout your pregnancy, labor, delivery and recovery.

Although we don't offer doulas, we do support you if you wish to include a doula in your childbirth plan. If you choose to work with a doula or a midwife during your pregnancy and birth experience, we can connect you to those who are affiliated with our doctors.

Labor and delivery

You know your body better than anyone, and we trust your instincts. You choose how to manage your labor and delivery. Our pregnancy specialists will support you in your birth plan while ensuring your health and safety.

Our highly trained team will be attending to your needs during your entire labor. We have advanced obstetric technology and resources, including on-site anesthesiologists and dedicated operating rooms nearby for unplanned or emergency cesarean sections. We offer wireless fetal monitoring as well as medicated and low-intervention birth options, such as natural pain management techniques.

Immediately after birth, we encourage skin-to-skin contact for you and your infant. Throughout your hospital stay, our team will help you learn to care for your new baby with confidence.

Neonatal intensive care

Sometimes, babies need a little extra support after birth. This is why many of our hospitals have advanced-level neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) in their maternity centers. These Level II and Level III NICUs are staffed with expert neonatal doctors and nurses who are highly trained to care for ill and premature newborns.

If your baby does need to stay in the NICU, we are committed to family-centered care. We encourage family bonding during your baby's NICU stay, and you may be by your baby's side 24/7.

Postpartum care

You will receive abundant support and encouragement after your baby is born—during your hospital stay and once you have transitioned back home. Our postpartum care services range from breastfeeding support and access to donor milk to newborn photography services and postpartum depression resources. We want to ensure your post-delivery experience is as enjoyable and memorable as possible.
