Our patient amenities

A hospital stay can be a difficult time for you and your family. We work to make it as pleasant as possible by providing you with a range of services, including:

  • Assistive devices for those with sensory-impairments
  • Comfortable accommodations with cable television and bedside telephones
  • Counseling and chaplain services, pastoral care and a nondenominational chapel
  • Dietician consultations, to help you find foods to promote healing and good health
  • Gourmet food service, including made-to-order room service dining
  • Free parking, for your convenience
  • Gift shop with an assortment of cards, snacks, gifts and flowers
  • Interpreters for many languages, including sign language
  • Postal mail, printouts of email messages and flowers delivered to patient rooms
  • Wi-Fi access

Because of our commitment to your health and comfort throughout your time with us, we have a certain practices in place to keep you and your loved ones safe and at ease.

We are a smoke-free facility

There is no smoking permitted within hospital premises at any time. We enforce this policy to keep our staff and patients healthy. There are designated locations for smoking outside the hospital.

We are committed to your safety

We understand how important feeling secure is to being comfortable. Our security services are there to keep you, your visitors and staff are safe, and also to ensure that your belongings and valuables are safe as well.

Our visiting hours

Visitors are often an important part to a strong recovery. We allow visitors between the hours of 2:00pm to 8:30pm daily. However, there are quiet hours from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 10:00pm - 6:00am to encourage healing and rest.


Preparing to return home

When your doctor decides you’re ready to leave the hospital, you’ll receive a discharge order with instructions for follow-up care, such as medication, dietary requirements or recommendations and your next scheduled appointment with your doctor. You’ll also stop by the hospital cashier to settle your account. Then, you’ll be escorted by a hospital representative to your waiting transportation. You may want to arrange with a family member or friend to take you home.

 Consult-A-Nurse is a free service that provides you with physician referrals and health information 24/7. Our RNs and referral specialists can help you find a doctor, answer your healthcare questions and register for classes and events.
