Tysons is a hub of activity for business, entertainment, shopping — and emergency care. As the newest freestanding emergency room (ER) in northern Virginia, Tysons Emergency is a fully functioning ER just steps away from Tyson Corner Center on Leesburg Pike. Accessing emergency care in Tysons is just like a trip to a hospital-based ER — but it comes with a host of big benefits for patients. Read on to learn why.

New facility, immediate care

Tysons Emergency provides full-service emergency care to all patients. Our ER is staffed with board-certified emergency specialists trained for adult and pediatric care. The brand-new facility features:

  • Private treatment and trauma rooms
  • Advanced imaging, including CT scan, X-ray, and ultrasound imaging
  • On-site laboratory services
  • Open 24/7

Short wait times

Tysons Emergency has the same services as a hospital-based ER, its freestanding status is incredibly convenient – even for those coming from nearby communities in Fairfax, Alexandria, Arlington, or even D.C. With testing and imaging dedicated to just this ER, these services often take less time. That means you can be seen, treated, and on your way. Want to know the average ER wait time before you go? Check our website.

Travel for faster care

For patients looking at a long wait at another hospital’s ER (because ER patients are seen in order of urgency, not order that they arrive), Tysons Emergency offers a faster option. The facility is just off 495 and has valet parking. It’s also within walking distance of the Greensboro Metro Station (8 minutes) and Tysons Metro Station (13 minutes).

A different ER experience

Tysons Emergency has a different feel. From the moment you arrive, you’ll experience a calming environment and complete patient confidentiality. All patient emergency care takes place behind closed doors, with private rooms for consultation with our nursing staff.

Continuum of care

In emergency care, timing is everything. In a perfect scenario, every visit provides the right level of care at the right time and the right place. And at Tysons Emergency, getting seen fast means getting testing, treatment, and pain management fast too. If your condition requires additional care or hospitalization, Tysons Emergency is set up to transfer you via ambulance to nearby Reston Hospital Center free of charge.

You may never have a need to visit Tysons Emergency, but if you do need fast, convenient emergency care, head to the hub of northern Virginia — Tysons.
