New chief nursing officer named at StoneSprings Hospital Center

StoneSprings Hospital Center annouces Becki Lawhorne as new CNO.

Dulles, Va.  — Becki Lawhorne is the new chief nursing officer, CNO of StoneSprings Hospital Center. Effective April 21, 2025.

Most recently, Lawhorne served as assistant CNO at Reston Hospital Center for the last two years and prior to that she was the director of women’s and children’s services at StoneSprings Hospital Center.

During her time at Reston Hospital Center, Lawhorne was instrumental in developing the neonatal transport team, launching the manager mentorship program, and supporting multiple unit expansions, including NICU, IMC, and the Spine and Orthopedic Center. Additionally, Becki helped Reston Hospital implement the scheduling platform: Timpani, and the new EHR Expanse, as well as navigate a challenging, yet successful triennial Joint Commission survey.

Lawhorne brings a breath of experience as a nurse leader from various clinical areas in both large and small hospitals, and outpatient settings.

She received an undergraduate degree in nursing from James Madison University, and a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Walden University.
