Pediatric intensive care in Virginia
At HCA Virginia, we provide compassionate, comprehensive care to critically injured and sick children in our pediatric intensive care units (PICUs). Located at Chippenham Hospital and Henrico Doctors' Hospital, our PICUs are staffed with experienced pediatricians, pediatric intensivists, nurses and other intensive care specialists. Our doctors, nurses and support staff understand that caring for a child is different than caring for an adult. Family-centered inpatient pediatric care
As part of our inpatient pediatric care, you will have access to several amenities while your child is in one of our PICUs. For example, each patient room has Wi-Fi and a flat-panel TV. We offer a kitchen with snacks, beverages, a refrigerator and a microwave for your convenience. We also have a playroom with age-appropriate games, toys and other entertaining activities.
