Family members and loved ones are an important support tool for each individual's recovery, so we encourage their involvement throughout the care process. We welcome family during regular visiting hours and family sessions, and seek their input in treatment and discharge planning, with patient consent.

For continued support, our senior patients have access to other outpatient programs within HCA Virginia Health System.

Visitors can be a helpful part of emotional healing and support for our patients, so we want to make it easy for you to stop by.

Getting to Senior Transitions

Senior Transitions is located within our main hospital. The unit has regular visiting hours daily from 5:00pm to 6:30pm. Special visiting hours may be arranged upon request.

Visitors can use the main hospital entrance, which has ample parking available. After arrival, visitors can go to the fifth floor and ring the bell to be admitted into the unit.
