Treatments we offer for psychological trauma

We offer a comprehensive inpatient and outpatient program for adults dealing with the mental health outcomes of traumatic events.

What is psychological trauma

Physical, sexual or emotional abuse, threatened death or a serious injury can cause physical trauma as well as psychological and emotional trauma. This trauma can be debilitating and affect your ability to lead a normal life. It may also potentially lead to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or dissociative disorders. However, with the right kind of treatment provided in a safe and therapeutic environment, you can process your experiences and heal.

Our trauma treatment program

Our goal is to provide safe, interpersonal engagement to decrease fear-based reactions. We help you learn strategies and skills to increase resilience and reclaim hope for the future.

Our TraumaSci program accomplishes this by helping to:

  • Buffer against the neurobiological effects of trauma
  • Decrease the intrusion of traumatic experiences, self-injurious behaviors and suicidal ideations
  • Inspire curiosity and insight leading to integration and understanding of your traumatic experiences
