Expert treatment for diseases of the liver and pancreas

Hepatobiliary Surgery

Hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) surgery is a dedicated surgical subspecialty tailored to the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of diseases of the liver, pancreas, and bile ducts. It involves the removal of primary and metastatic cancers in these organs, as well as treatment of benign diseases of these organs, such as cysts, bile duct injuries, and gallstones. For many of these diseases, surgery is the primary treatment and, in many instances, the only potential for cure. At Reston Hospital Center, our team of highly trained health professionals are known for their expertise.
