MedicalGPS patient experience survey measures patient satisfaction from the time the appointment was
made to the time the patient spent with the provider.
Visit Preparation: Measures how courteous, respectful and friendly the clinical
staff was during the patient's visit.
Provider Explanation: Measures whether providers at this practice gave clear,
easy-to-understand explanations during the patient's visit.
Office Wait Time: Measures how satisfied the patient was with wait time during
Patient Recommendation: Measures how likely the patient is to recommend this
practice to family and friends.
Marion Herring, MD, focuses on sports medicine and complex problems of the knee, shoulder and elbow. This renowned orthopaedist is subspecialty board certified in Sports Medicine, and he teaches regionally and nationally on topics including arthroscopic shoulder surgery, rotator cuff injuries, shoulder replacements, shoulder instability, and arm injuries in the young throwers.
Dr. Herring received his Bachelor of Science degree from Washington and Lee University and his medical degree from UNC-Chapel Hill. He completed his Orthopaedic training here in Richmond and completed an additional fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at Duke University.
Dr. Herring is the Medical Director for Joint Replacement at Parham Doctors' Hospital.
