Brian Lentz, MDCardiovascular Disease
Post-residency, Dr. Lentz spent a research year in Cardiovascular Emergency Medicine at the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville, Virginia, and subsequently completed at Fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at VCU Health (formerly the Medical College of Virginia) in Richmond, Virginia. Prior to joining HCA and Cardiology Associates of Richmond, he completed a second Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Vidant Medical Center at East Carolina University, in Greenville, North Carolina.
Dr. Lentz has worked as both a Clinical Instructor and Attending Physician at several major health systems during his career including Weill Medical College of Cornell University at New York Presbyterian, University of Virginia Health System, Fairfax Hospital, and Naval Medical Center Portsmouth.
An active member of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Lentz was recognized for his professional achievement and quality cardiovascular care and was named a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology in 2016.
