LewisGale Medical Center is now hiring a number of positions to staff the brand new Blue Hills ER on Route 460 in Roanoke County. Recruiters are actively seeking applicants for Registered Nurses, Ultrasound Techs, Radiology Techs and more.

About Us
In April 2020, construction started on the new Blue Hills ER, a 10,000-square-foot freestanding emergency room. Affiliated with Lewis-Gale Medical Center, the freestanding emergency room is the second of its kind in Southwest Virginia.
Blue Hills ER will be staffed with board-certified emergency room physicians and nurses 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Our ER services
From treating minor illnesses and injuries to major medical concerns, we will offer the same advanced technologies and services you would find at one of our full-service hospital ERs. Blue Hills ER will be designed to provide convenient and fast emergency care, specifically around your comfort.
Designed to meet the community’s needs, the new center will feature:
- Walk in and ambulance entrances
- Eight private treatment rooms
- CT capabilities
- Digital ultrasound
- Digital diagnostic and portable x-rays
- On-site laboratory
- Secure hold room for behavioral health patients
