Fredericksburg, Va - HCA Virginia has announced that Lee Van Sise will serve as chief nursing officer for Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center.

"Lee has had an extensive career in nursing, with over 10 years of nursing leadership experience and a passion for improving clinical quality outcomes and hospital operations," said David McKnight, chief executive officer at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. "We're excited to welcome Lee to the Spotsy family."

Lee Van Sise has been with HCA for 22 years, having started his career with the company as a nurse, and most recently serving as assistant chief nursing officer of HCA Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond, Va.

Van Sise is currently completing his Doctor of Nursing Practice with Virginia Commonwealth University. He has a Master of Business Administration - Healthcare Management from Western Governors University, where he also received his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Lee is also a Registered Nurse and a Board Certified Nurse Executive Advanced.
