>Richmond, Va. (Dec. 4, 2015) — HCA Virginia’s John Randolph Medical Center, welcomes the following newest physicians:
- Gretchen Aquilina, D.O., bariatric and gastrointestinal surgeon, specializes in minimally invasive colon and rectal surgery, surgery for inflammatory bowel disease, colon and rectal cancer, surgery for incontinence, rectal prolapse and screening for diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopies. She attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine.
- Boyd Rawles, M.D., specializes in general orthopedics and hand and upper extremity. His special procedures include biceps tendon reinsertion, trauma, arthritis surgery, joint replacement for hand, wrist and elbow, tendon joint injections and wrist arthroscopy. Rawles attended the Medical College of Virginia and completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Virginia.
- Deepa Taggarshe, M.D., specializes in minimally invasive colon and rectal surgery, surgery for inflammatory bowel disease, colon and rectal cancer, surgery for fecal incontinence and rectal prolapse. She is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery- American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery.
