Henrico County Water Project to Affect Traffic, Entrances at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital

March 06, 2013

Richmond, VA – An upcoming water main repair project near Henrico Doctors’ Hospital will temporarily affect vehicular traffic and entranceways into the hospital.

Led by the County of Henrico, the project will begin Monday, March 11, 2013 and will last approximately two weeks.

During this time, a large section of Forest Avenue will be closed including the Discovery Drive intersection. All vehicular traffic normally entering the campus via the Discovery Drive intersection will need to be directed to another entrance.

The Women’s Pavilion entrance will remain open off Forest Avenue in addition to the two entrances off Skipwith Road. Patients are encouraged to use the entrances off Skipwith Road.

The repairs are not expected to disrupt water service to customers.
