Richmond, Va. (Nov. 1, 2012) — HCA Virginia has announced the promotion of Ken West to serve as associate administrator for Chippenham and Johnston-Willis Hospitals.
In this role, West will be responsible for many of the ancillary and support services at Chippenham and Johnston-Willis Hospitals, while advancing the organization’s mission and vision.

West previously served as associate COO at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, where he provided administrative oversight to Behavioral Health Services, Laboratory Services and Sleep Medicine among many other areas.
In addition, West worked as an administrative resident from August 2008 through May 2009 where he helped to lead the process for the development of multiple tools and policies as well as hire many of the hospital staff.
He received his bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University in 2005 and his master’s degree from Georgetown University in 2009.
