Richmond, Va. (March 18, 2014) – HCA Virginia has named Matthew Oliver as the new chief financial officer of John Randolph Medical Center.
In this role, Oliver will promote the achievement of hospital financial goals and support facility staff in providing quality patient care.

“Matthew is part of the senior leadership team and will assist with ensuring we continue to bring quality of care to the community as well as challenge us to improve our services.”
Oliver comes to John Randolph Medical Center after having served as controller of Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort, Ky., where he was responsible for the finance department and also served as the facility’s chief staffing officer.
He began his career as a medical records and payroll clerk at a physician’s office in Metropolis, Ill. and then joined HCA’s internal audit division in 2008 where he had the opportunity to work with a variety of HCA hospital financial departments.
A board member of the YMCA and involved with Boy Scouts of America, he received his Bachelor of Arts in business with a major in accounting and minor in chemistry from Murray State University in Kentucky.
